Fendolite M11 is a single pack factory controlled premix based on Vermiculite and Portland cement specifically developed for the application to elements in exterior environments and interior situations where mechanical damage is a consideration. The unique properties of Vermiculite have enabled Exfoliators to manufacture to design, a low density, highly durable material which accommodates induced stress arising from widely varying and extreme conditions of exposure both in service i.e. from changes in loading and moisture, and in a fire condition i.e. the affects of hot, cold thermal shock. The ability of Vermiculite to relieve stress by volume change means that the fire protection can stay in place during a fire even when subjected to impingement from fire water systems. Fendolite M11 has been used throughout the world for many years as a leading Passive Fire Protection product for the protection of steel and concrete against Cellulosic and Hydrocarbon fires.
